【产品介绍】In the immune system, integrins have
essential roles in leukocyte trafficking a n d
function. These include immune cell attachment
to endothelial a n d antigen-presenting cells,
cytotoxicity, a n d extravasation into tissues (1).
Integrin adhesion recept o r s transduce signals
that control complex cell functions which require
the regulation of gene expression, such as
proliferation, differentiation a n d survival.
Their intracellular domain has no catalytic
function, indicating that interaction with other
transducing molecules is crucial f o r integrin-
mediated signaling. JAB1 (Jun activation domain-
binding protein 1), a coactivat o r of the
c-Jun transcription fact o r , has been identified as
a protein that interacts with the cytoplasmic domain of
the beta2 subunit of the alphaL/beta2 integrin LFA-1
(2). Patients with leukocyte adhesion molecule
(CD11/CD18, beta 2 integrins) deficiency have
structural defects in the common beta subunit (CD18),
which prevent heterodimer f o r mation a n d n o r mal
cell surface expression of these recept o r s, leading
to life-threatening bacterial infections (3)

using anti-Phospho-LFA-β2 (pS745) RabMAb
(cat. #1911-1), 1:500 dilution. Cells were either
(A) untreated (B) treated with AP.

B. Immunohistochemical analysis of human tonsils
using anti-Phospho- LFA-β2 (pS745) RabMAb (cat. # 1911-1).
