It is recommended to freeze aliquots at -20°C or -80°C for extended storage. Shipping Room temperature in continental US; may vary elsewhere. Background Angiogenin (Ang) is one of the members of the pancreatic ribonuclease (RNase) superfamily that have unusual biological properties. The amino acid sequence of angiogenin revealed that it was homologous to RNase A. It shares 33% sequence identity with the bovine enzyme, including counterparts to the two histidines and one lysine that constitute the catalytic active site. It belongs to the pancreatic RNase superfamily of proteins and is specifically endocytosed by endothelial cells and transported to the nucleus, where it accumulates in the nucleolus. |
